How It Works - Standard Subscription Features

Below is a breakdown of the standard subscription features for both our Admin Control Panel and Subscriber Interface, accurate as of Q3 2024. This point-form list highlights our standard offerings, though please note that other limitations may apply and may not be listed here.

Admin Control Panel

The admin subscription control panel allows for the following controls/interactions with subscriptions:

1. Reschedule - Reschedule the subscription date
2. Edit Payment Details - Edit/update payment details
3. Edit Shipment Details - Edit/update shipment details
4. Edit Shipment Carrier Details - Edit/update carrier preference/options 
5. Masquerade/Login As - Login as the customer without the need for a password
6. Edit Subscriber (BigCommerce Control Panel) - View/edit the subscriber details in BigCommerce
7. Manage Subscription
   • Add Product - Add product(s) to the subscription
   • Ship Now - Ship items today instead of on their scheduled date
   • Pause Subscription - Pause/resume a subscription
8. Edit Line Items
   • Edit Frequency - Edit the frequency of a line item
   • Edit Next Renewal Date - Edit the next renewal date of a line item
   • Edit Quantity - Adjust the quantity of a line item 
   • Remove Line Item - Remove a line item
9. View Activity Log

Subscriber Interface

The subscriber interface (expanded below) allow for the following subscriber interactions before customizations or restrictions (if required):

1. Add Products - Subscribers can add items (one-time or subscriptions) to their existing subscription
2. Reschedule - Subscribers can choose a new date for their subscription
3. Skip Shipment - Subscribers can skip the next (or up to 5) subscription renewals
4. Ship Now - Subscribers can ship their items early as needed
5. Cancel Subscriptions - Subscribers can cancel their subscription
6. Edit Line Items
   • Edit Frequency - Subscribers can edit the frequency of a line item
   • Edit Next Renewal Date - Subscribers can edit the next renewal date of a line item
   • Edit Quantity - Subscribers can adjust the quantity of a line item 
   • Remove Line Item - Subscribers can remove a line item
7. Edit Payment Details - Subscribers can edit/update their current payment information
8. Edit Shipping Details - Subscribers can edit/update their current shipping information
