MINIBC recognizes that merchants need the flexibility to switch primary gateways from time-to-time and that making the process as smooth as possible for subscribers is of primary importance. With that in mind, this guide walks through the steps required for a gateway switch for merchants with an active subscriber base.
There are two methods of completing a gateway switch, both of those are detailed below.
Fees & Expected Timelines
MINIBC charges a flat fee of $2,000 USD for this service; this fee covers the below steps, along with consulting and guidance during the entire process.
Timelines are heavy based on the two gateways (old and new) completing the token transfer and the new primary gateway providing the necessary data to MINIBC (a mapping of the old and new token information details). This can range from 2-8 weeks in our experience. Once the data is provided MINIBC can complete the process within 2-5 business days depending on current workload and availability.
